Families were welcomed to attend hosted morning and afternoon teas at our services, enjoying delicious treats and spending quality, relaxing time with their children – chatting, laughing and sharing each other’s company. For our learners, it is a treasured moment as they shared and explored with their loved ones, their favourite parts of their learning space. These moments certainly foster connection and make treasured lifetime memories.
One of the most precious parts of our Mother’s Day celebrations, is the opportunity for educators to foster shared experiences for children and their families. Children could choose to engage with their loved ones in craft, reading, outdoor play experiences, photo booths and more.
Thank you to everyone who hosted and joined our celebrations – your presence truly made these moments meaningful and created life-long memories for our many learners. At St Nicholas, we are honoured to partner with families in nurturing children’s growth and events like these remind us of the importance of our community.
