We are excited to announce the commencement of Before School Care at St Nicholas OOSH Waratah starting from the beginning of Term 2, 2024.

As parents, we all want the best for our children, especially when it comes to their education. While traditional teaching methods have their merits, there is a growing recognition of the significant benefits of play-based learning.
Water play isn’t just a popular activity for children in early childhood settings. It also enhances their creativity and imagination, promotes good health and wellbeing, and provides opportunities for explorative learning.
The Floorbooks Approach is designed to create a balance between intentional teaching and child autonomy. Floorbooks allow educators to consult deeply with children during the planning and documentation process.
At St Nicholas, our educators utilise a child-centred, play-based and Reggio Emilia-influenced approach to our program, the latter of which was founded by Loris Malaguzzi, an early childhood educator and philosopher.
We are thrilled to introduce our brand-new website, designed with the goal of further enriching the experiences of our families, students and the wider community.
