Cutting the ribbon at the opening of Maitland’s new preschool wing

St Nicholas Early Education Maitland 117

St Nicholas Early Education Maitland recently celebrated its new preschool wing with a ribbon cutting, bringing together members of our Support Office team, the centre’s leadership team and some of the children who make our Maitland community so special.

The gathering marked an exciting milestone for the centre and an opportunity to celebrate the people who helped bring the new wing to life.

With children joining the celebration, the occasion kept the purpose of the new space at its heart: creating opportunities for children to learn, play, build friendships and grow.

Celebrating the next chapter

A preschool environment is a place for discovery, whether children are sharing ideas, working through a challenge together or finding a new interest through play.

The new wing marks the next chapter for our Maitland centre, with our team continuing to support children’s learning and development in partnership with their families.

The ribbon cutting was also a chance to pause and recognise the work behind this milestone. Bringing colleagues and children together made it a celebration shared across our St Nicholas community.

We look forward to the learning, laughter and discoveries that will fill the new preschool wing in the years ahead.
