As a coach, player and umpire, Imogen is dedicated to helping other young athletes grow and develop their skills, and promoting youth participation in sport.

Imogen’s leadership extends to mentoring young umpires, fostering teamwork and encouraging participation in sports, especially among young girls. Recognised for her work in growing junior cricket and promoting youth engagement in sport, she inspires others with her selflessness and commitment.

“It’s an award I wasn’t expecting to receive and it feels very surreal. Supporting young and upcoming junior athletes is important to ensure that our local games keep growing and these players feel welcomed”, said Imogen

Imogen’s advice is to “just keep working hard and don’t be afraid to ask questions or for help. Have a go, no one is going to judge you for it.”

Congratulations Imogen!
