St Nicholas Pathways launches 2024 Professional Learning Calendar

In the dynamic landscape of early childhood education and care, continuous learning and professional development are not just desirable; they’re essential. St Nicholas Pathways understands this fundamental truth and has once again taken a bold step forward by launching the first volume of their Professional Learning Calendar for 2024.

This year, the calendar is split into two volumes, catering to the evolving needs of educators and team members within the St Nicholas community. The first volume covers training programs scheduled from January to June and the second volume spans July to November, ensuring a consistent approach to skill-building and knowledge enhancement throughout the year.

Each learning opportunity has been meticulously crafted to elevate the skills of team members while enriching their educational practices. From immersive nature play workshops to dynamic leadership sessions, the offerings are as diverse as they are enriching.

One of the key strengths of the Professional Learning Calendar is its versatility. St Nicholas Pathways recognises that one size does not fit all when it comes to professional development. As such, they offer a variety of training formats to cater to different learning styles and preferences. Whether it’s face-to-face training, online modules, or team meeting-based packages for service leaders, there’s something for everyone.

Moreover, the calendar extends its reach beyond basic training, offering specialised support for various roles within St Nicholas. From early childhood teachers to educational leaders, trainees, and mentors, each segment of the St Nicholas community receives tailored training and support to help them thrive in their respective roles.

One of the highlights of the Professional Learning Calendar is the emphasis on problem-solving and collaboration. Through drop-in sessions dedicated to addressing challenges and finding innovative solutions, educators are encouraged to tap into their collective wisdom, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.

St Nicholas Pathways has tapped into a wealth of talent both within and beyond its borders to facilitate these learning experiences. Alongside Pathways’ Professional Learning team, external specialists bring fresh perspectives and specialised knowledge to the table. Moreover, talent from within St Nicholas’ support office and services will lend their expertise, enriching the training programs with real-world insights and best practices.
