St Nicholas and CatholicCare Giving Tree delivers Christmas joy to local children

0008703 sn Xmas campaign

The St Nicholas and CatholicCare Giving Tree initiative has delivered a heartfelt outcome for children and families in our community this Christmas.

Thanks to the generosity of families across St Nicholas Early Education’s network of centres, a total of $1,464 was raised through the initiative, along with a generous collection of unwrapped gifts. This support helped provide meaningful Christmas gifts for more than 40 children living in foster care or vulnerable circumstances and supported by CatholicCare.

These gifts helped ensure children felt valued, cared for, and remembered during the Christmas season. For many families, the initiative also helped ease financial pressure at what can be a particularly challenging time of year, while bringing joy and excitement to children on Christmas morning.

The Giving Tree initiative was a wonderful opportunity for St Nicholas and CatholicCare to unite in support of a shared mission: strengthening and supporting families in our community. By coming together in this way, teams were able to make a tangible difference while reinforcing the strong connection between our services and the people we support.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared the initiative, or helped bring it to life across our sites. Your generosity and compassion have made a meaningful impact and continue to reflect our shared commitment to caring for children and families across the Diocese.
