Here’s a wrap-up of the highlights:
St Nicholas OOSH New Lambton
Taking learning outdoors, New Lambton OOSH put their putting skills to the test at Rip It Golf, unleashed their inner artists with a Milkshakes and Masterpieces session, de-stressed with a farmyard visit full of furry friends and practised their geology skills at Richley Reserve.
St Nicholas OOSH Denman
Venturing to Aah Pizza Bella, Muswellbrook for their Little Master Chef’s Day, our Denman OOSHies were guided in a pizza-making masterclass thanks to the Aah Team. Learning how the store creates the delicious pizzas it’s known for, our OOSHies created their own healthy pizza lunch. The perfect blend of nutrition learning and hands-on fun.
St Nicholas OOSH Abermain
Kicking off the holidays with a day filled with colour and creative challenges, St Nicholas OOSH Abermain brought back the classic colour run – an OOSHie favourite. Paired in week 2 of the holidays with Kidchella, our Abermain OOSHies continued their creative exploration, making friendship bracelets, glitter art and slime before boogying it out on the disco floor.
St Nicholas OOSH East Maitland
With a successful trip to Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, St Nicholas OOSH East Maitland ventured into the wildlife, meeting lots of different animals and learning about their unique qualities. A much-loved excursion, this trip to the zoo is always filled with memorable moments and experiences for our OOSHies.
St Nicholas OOSH Glendale
At Blackbutt Reserve, St Nicholas OOSH Glendale braved the critter encounter, discovering the unique species of bugs that call the reserve home. Alongside meeting some of Blackbutt’s most lovable animals, our OOSHies explored the enclosures getting to see a variety of species up close.
St Nicholas OOSH Gloucester
The Great OOSH Bake Off returned to St Nicholas OOSH Gloucester with our OOSHies baking and decorating cupcakes. Their task was to design their cupcakes in the theme of “treats and fun”, coming up with creative ways to display camping, beaches and tourist attractions like the Eiffle Tower.
