Meet Nicole Baker, St Nicholas’ Executive Manager – Quality Assurance

Read about Nicole Baker, St Nicholas’ Executive Manager – Quality Assurance, including how her role supports the quality and practice of St Nicholas’ centres and services.

I feel so incredibly fortunate to be welcomed into St Nicholas as the Executive Manager Quality Assurance, working with the Pedagogy and Quality Assurance Team.

Having worked in the education sector for over 20 years, I firstly identify as a teacher, however now dedicate myself to leading teams to ultimately provide greater educational, developmental and wellbeing outcomes for children and families.

Knowing the first five years of a child’s life has significant impact upon their life trajectory, I am committed to ensuring children’s learning environments are nurturing, engaging and responsive and provide a safe space for all children to learn and thrive.

Everyone has a right to education and care which respects their values, cultures, and needs. By working collaboratively with children, families, team and the community, I am excited to build upon existing achievements, and continue to strive for excellence.

On a personal note, my most important roles are as a wife and mother to my husband (who is also a teacher) and our three children who love to stay active by playing soccer, cricket and simply enjoying the outdoors. Growing up with a love of dance, and having taught dance for many years, I am always eager to jump on the dance floor whenever I can!

I am eager to work with you to deliver a quality education and care experience for all!
