Meet Jessica Boland, our new Area Service Manager

Get to know St Nicholas’ new Area Service Manager, Jessica Boland, including a bit about her background and what she loves about working in early childhood.

I am so excited to have recently joined the St Nicholas team as an Area Service Manager.

I have worked across the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for over 16 years in multiple positions across family day care, early education and out-of-school-hours care. Throughout my career, operations has been a passion of mine, with a focus on compliance and ensuring our services provide safe environments that support children’s health and wellbeing, while allowing our educators to form and maintain nurturing and warm relationships with children and families. In my most recent role as a Quality Advisor, it enabled me to support service leadership teams to focus on each of the seven national quality areas, with a view to create and support high quality, positive outcomes for children within their learning and development.

I believe that each child is unique, and their individual needs must be catered to for them to realise their full potential. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, with their first and most important teacher being their parents. High quality outcomes for children are realised when each service works toward creating and maintaining strong relationships with families and the wider community.

I look forward to meeting each team member in the St Nicholas community to work together to create the best possible environment and future for our children.
