Hello, hello everyone!
I’m Angie, your new Pedagogy and Practice Manager.
I’d like to share with you some fun facts about me before we meet officially (it tells you everything you need to know, really):
-
I’m a teacher, no matter the age of the student.
-
My favourite role is ‘Mummy’ and i’ll always say yes to another episode of Bluey.
-
I’m a fur-mum to 2 cheeky sausages.
-
I start too many sentences with “I listened to a podcast about….”
-
I will never stop striving for a world that is socially just and kind to its core.
-
I like lattes made with oat milk, and drinks made from grapes.
-
I love love and will offer to marry you on the weekends.
-
I’ll probably be dressed like a rainbow or a leopard when you see me.
And I am on Team St Nicks because I want to help create magic for children. I believe children deserve educators who are passionate and excited to make their world a little bit brighter. I want to support and guide our teams to understand in depth the impact they’re making through embedding the highest quality pedagogical practices. I want you to talk to me, ask the big questions and be open to reflection and growth – and I promise to do the same!
Without sounding too much like a resume, I’ve got over a decade of experience in a huge array of roles within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. I have supported and guided over 500 teams around Australia, I have taught adults, I have coached and mentored using a positive psychology framework… so you’re in good hands!
Lets make magic together!
