Giving Tree initiative exceeds goal as support grows

IMG 2047

The St Nicholas and CatholicCare Giving Tree initiative continues to gather momentum, with $1,106 raised so far to support children in need across the region.

The Giving Tree is helping ensure children in need – including those living in foster care aged 0–17 – receive a meaningful gift at Christmas. The generosity shown by our St Nicholas service communities is already making a real and immediate difference, and the funds raised so far could help provide meaningful presents for more than 35 children, many of whom may otherwise go without.

To give everyone even more opportunity to take part, the campaign has been extended through to Christmas Eve.

Lisa Craven (pictured left), Director of CatholicCare, and Mel Hill (right), Director of St Nicholas, have been working together to champion this joint initiative that reflects our shared commitment to compassion and community.

Thank you to all who have supported the campaign to date. We look forward to seeing the collective impact continue to grow as we approach Christmas.
