This vibrant energy not only fuels their passion for early education but also forms the backbone of a closely-knit and dynamic work environment.
Throughout the year, they have participated in team bonding activities designed to build and strengthen their relationships. These activities have challenged them to step outside their comfort zones, helping to develop deeper connections, trust, and a sense of belonging among team members.
Shelly Locock, Educator at St Nicholas Early Education Maitland, said, “Being able to arrange these experiences for my colleagues where we can come together to understand each other’s interests and values is truly rewarding and it is just so much fun to get involved.”
From conquering fears at Treetops Adventure Park, where heights posed an exciting challenge, to laughing their way through a game of putt-putt at Rippit Mini Golf, each event offered opportunities for collaboration and support. The team also unleashed their creativity and energy at Hunter Valley Smash Room, letting off steam in a fun and unique way. To unwind, they came together for a nostalgic and relaxing movie night at Heddon Greta Drive In, adding another layer of shared memories to their year.
Each of these experiences has helped the team to further build a positive, supportive, and lively work atmosphere.
