About St Nicholas Early Education Forster

St Nicholas Early Education Forster is an upcoming 77-place early education and care centre, located in the heart of Forster. Already trusted by the Forster community for our Out of School Hours (OOSH) services, we at St Nicholas are thrilled to extend our commitment to quality education and care with the opening of this brand-new centre.

Our thoughtfully designed Forster centre will feature purpose-built indoor and outdoor learning environments, crafted to inspire children, make families feel welcome, and empower educators. These contemporary spaces provide a nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and grow.

Conveniently located alongside Holy Name Primary School, St Nicholas Early Education Forster offers families a streamlined drop-off and pick-up experience for children attending both locations. As part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, the centre provides a connected educational pathway, including priority enrolment at Holy Name Primary School. This ensures a smooth transition from early childhood to primary education, supported by St Nicholas’ dedicated Transition to School program.

The curriculum at St Nicholas Early Education Forster will be guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), nurturing each child’s natural curiosity and creativity through play-based learning. It emphasises building strong relationships, developing essential life skills, and fostering a sense of belonging. With a focus on inclusion and equity, the program encourages active family engagement and tailors learning experiences to support the individual needs and potential of every child.

With a focus on nurturing curiosity, building strong relationships, and supporting each child to flourish, St Nicholas Early Education Forster is dedicated to laying the groundwork for a bright and successful future.
