St Nicholas Early Education Forster is a proposed 77-place early education and care centre planned for the heart of Forster. Building on our strong local presence through St Nicholas OOSH, we are preparing to expand our commitment to high-quality education and care in the region with this new early education offering.
The Forster centre is being designed with purpose-built indoor and outdoor learning environments that aim to inspire children, welcome families, and support our educators. These contemporary spaces are envisioned to provide a nurturing environment where children can play, learn and grow.
Planned alongside Holy Name Primary School, the proposed centre is expected to offer families a convenient and connected educational experience. If approved, it would support a smooth transition from early learning to primary school, including access to *greater priority enrolment at Holy Name and our dedicated Transition to School program.
The centre’s program is intended to be guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), with a strong focus on play-based learning, relationships, and inclusion. Our aim is to deliver meaningful learning experiences tailored to each child’s interests, strengths, and developmental stage—empowering every child to flourish.
As planning progresses, we look forward to keeping the Forster community informed about this exciting proposed addition to the St Nicholas Early Education network.
