Compassion
For Programming Excellence
Who is eligible: All St Nicholas Early Education and St Nicholas OOSH team members.
Criteria: This individual has developed an innovative program or activity that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework (EE) or the My Time, Our Place Framework (OOSH).
Hope
For Innovation Excellence
Who is eligible: All St Nicholas Early Education and St Nicholas OOSH team members.
Criteria: This individual has implemented creative or visionary practices that bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to their service.
Integrity
For Leadership Excellence
Who is eligible: All St Nicholas Early Education and St Nicholas OOSH team members.
Criteria: This individual leads by example, embodying integrity, responsibility, and ethical leadership.
Justice
For Advancing Inclusion
Who is eligible: All St Nicholas Early Education and St Nicholas OOSH services.
Criteria: This service has successfully designed and implemented initiatives that foster a culture of inclusion.
Participation
For Support Excellence
Who is eligible: Early Education Child Care Cook or other Support Staff.
Criteria: This individual has significantly improved a process or developed an initiative that positively impacted the day-to-day operations of their service.
Family & Community Partnership Excellence
Who is eligible: All St Nicholas Early Education and St Nicholas OOSH services.
Criteria: This service excels at building strong, lasting partnerships with families and the wider community.
Leader of the Year
(2x Awards – Early Education & OOSH)
Who is eligible: All St Nicholas Early Education Centre Directors and Assistant Directors, and all St Nicholas OOSH Nominated Supervisors.
Criteria: This individual has demonstrated exceptional leadership by empowering their team and upholding the values of St Nicholas.
School-Based Trainee of the Year
Who is eligible: All St Nicholas School-Based Trainees.
Criteria: This individual has shown exceptional dedication to both their practical experience and theoretical studies as a school-based trainee.
Trainee of the Year
Who is eligible: All St Nicholas Work-Based Trainees.
Criteria: This individual has shown exceptional dedication to both their practical experience and theoretical studies as a work-based trainee.
Eligibility
- Individual award recipients must have been employed by St Nicholas for a minimum of 12 months.
- Individual award recipients must not currently be, nor have been, subject to any formal disciplinary outcomes within the past 12 months.
- Support Office, Pathways, and Shared Services team members are ineligible for nomination.

Awards process
- Nominations open Monday 25 November.
- Individuals must be nominated by a professional colleague within St Nicholas.
- Nominations close Monday 9 December.
