About our Toddler program
The toddler years are full of energy, exploration,
and big emotions. Our Toddler program is
designed to nurture growing independence,
encourage social connections, and support
your child’s natural curiosity through play. With
flexible routines, engaging environments, and
responsive educators, we help toddlers feel
confident, capable, and understood.
How toddlers learn
Our educators support each child’s development by:
- Creating opportunities for choice, movement, and hands-on learning
- Supporting emerging language through conversation, songs, and stories
- Encouraging social learning through group play, turn-taking, and cooperation
- Responding to emotions with warmth and respect
- Building confidence and independence in everyday routines
Your child’s day
Your toddler’s day follows a flexible, age-appropriate rhythm that may include:
- Morning group time with stories and songs
- Creative play with blocks, puzzles, art, and sensory materials
- Outdoor exploration and active movement
- Shared mealtimes and rest periods
- Small group experiences that support social development
- Positive support for toileting and transitions
We encourage strong partnerships with families to ensure consistency between home and care.

Submitting an enrolment request or enquiry does not constitute a confirmed enrolment or booking. No enrolment or booking is confirmed until you have received confirmation from St Nicholas.

For casual and Vacation Care bookings, we have a 5-day cancellation policy, after which the parent/carer will be liable for their full fees for that session. For permanent bookings, we have a 2-week cancellation policy.

One-off cancellations for permanent bookings still require the parent/carer to pay their full fees for that session, unless the cancellation is permanent, in which case the family will forfeit their permanent place for that session.
