There has been plenty to celebrate at St Nicholas, with our brand new early education centres in Forster and Kotara South now officially open and welcoming families.
These two new centres mark an exciting milestone in the growth of St Nicholas, extending our early education offering to more children and families across the region, including in two vibrant school communities alongside Holy Name Primary School, Forster and St James’ Primary School, Kotara South.
Purpose-built to support children’s learning, wellbeing, and sense of belonging, both centres have been thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, exploration and connection from the very first day.
As with any new centre opening, children’s commencements are being thoughtfully staggered across the first few weeks of operation. This approach allows our educators to get to know each child, support individual routines and needs, and ensure a calm, settled start for all children and families as these new communities grow.
Opening week at both centres has been filled with special moments, from first arrivals and new friendships to children settling into play and discovery in their new spaces.
For our educators, too, it has been a joyful milestone, bringing to life the vision, planning and care that has gone into creating these new communities.
These openings represent more than the addition of two new centres. They reflect our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality early education in places where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
We are so proud to see these centres now open and thriving, and grateful to the families and team members helping shape these communities from day one.
