About St Nicholas Early Education Cardiff

St Nicholas Early Education Cardiff is an 84-place early education and care centre featuring bright, engaging playrooms that open onto an atrium-style outdoor play space, filled with a delightful variety of natural and man-made play equipment.

Centrally located in the Cardiff business district, the centre provides convenient drop-off and pick-up options for local families and those commuting to work. As part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, St Nicholas Early Education Cardiff offers families a connected educational pathway with priority enrolment at nearby Catholic schools, such as St Kevin’s Primary School, Cardiff, and St Mary’s Primary School, Warners Bay, supported by St Nicholas’ coveted Transition to School program for preschool children.

The centrepiece of St Nicholas Cardiff’s outdoor area is a captivating wooden pirate ship, complete with portholes, sails, and a crow’s nest—all crafted from locally sourced wood and materials. The outdoor space is further enhanced by vibrant wall colours, landscaped gardens, and sandstone sandpits, providing children with endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.

Centre Director – Anjelica Sackley

Anjelica is our familiar and dedicated Centre Director at St Nicholas Early Education Cardiff. Bringing over seven years of experience in the early childhood and education sector, Anjelica is well-placed to enable our Cardiff team and community to thrive.

Holding a Diploma in Children’s Services and having successfully led other services across the Upper Hunter region, Anjelica’s strength lies in her ability to develop high-quality programs for early learners and her emphasis on fostering meaningful relationships with the families in her care.

These strengths underpin Anjelica’s focus on creating nurturing and enriching learning environments that echo the interests of the children. Conceptualising alongside her team to provide holistic learning opportunities, Anjelica is all about bringing out the best in the people around her.

Submit an enrolment request for Before and After School Care or Vacation Care. One of our friendly team members will be in touch as soon as possible.

Please note:

Submitting an enrolment request or enquiry does not constitute a confirmed enrolment or booking. No enrolment or booking is confirmed until you have received confirmation from St Nicholas.
For casual and Vacation Care bookings, we have a 5-day cancellation policy, after which the parent/carer will be liable for their full fees for that session. For permanent bookings, we have a 2-week cancellation policy.
One-off cancellations for permanent bookings still require the parent/carer to pay their full fees for that session, unless the cancellation is permanent, in which case the family will forfeit their permanent place for that session.
